Cookies and browser storage
Effective date: 3 October 2026
This policy explains how the BidPilot free pilot uses cookies and similar browser storage. Contact support@gotbidpilot.com with questions.
What these technologies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser. Local storage performs a similar function and can remember information between visits.
Strictly necessary storage
BidPilot uses essential authentication storage provided through Supabase to keep you signed in, protect account access and restore a valid session. The service also uses browser storage to preserve interface state and working information needed for continuity while you use the pilot. Without this storage, account and workspace features may not function correctly.
| Provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| BidPilot and Supabase | Authentication, session security and signed in access | Session or until expiry, sign out or removal |
| BidPilot local storage | Preserve workspace, navigation and interface state | Until replaced, cleared or removed through browser settings |
Analytics and advertising
BidPilot does not currently use advertising cookies or optional behavioural tracking in the pilot. If optional analytics, marketing or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be shown before those technologies are used where required.
Managing storage
You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign in, saved navigation and other BidPilot features from working. Signing out ends the active authenticated session, although some browser records may remain until they expire or are cleared.
